We headed south to Burgogne. - or Burgandy as we English call it. A special friend kindly said "ma maison est ta maison". Or as we English say: "my house is your house" !!!! Can you believe it? We were lent a house in the middle of France, a wonderful old farmhouse in a meadow all to ourselves for as long as we wanted! Pretty sure our faces were a picture when ...

... arch and onto the beach, heaving a great sigh of relief. As we had got very wet on various rapids we both decided to take a dip in the river fully clothed! Sat and had lunch whilst watching people float past. From there it was a lovely 20 min paddle down the river to our pick up point back home for tea and medals (well we think we deserved one) , take a look at this, it's not us but gives you an idea of where we were!! Ps I have never ever been so scared in my whole life ...

... quarter and walked up a hill to a mini notre dame, had some ice cream and slowly made our way back to the hotel for dinner and an early night. Today we leave Lyon and head down into Spain!! We are going to spend a couple of nights in Barcelona. Aimee is happy about the prospect of not having to eat cheese at breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is our longest trip and is estimated to take around 8 hours. As soon as we got on the bus Aimee was busting for the ...
