our host. It seams Jean (French for
John) was incommunicado at work or something, and by the time we got back to
the car, we had a parking ticket, that we didn’t much understand apart from the
$53 price tag. We did manage to find out
what we thought was our hosts address but with all this ambiguity we were
starting to wonder if this was such a good idea.

Drove into Montreal yesterday afternoon stopping along the way at Exit 91 Truck Stop, the reason I tell you this is because the guy behind the counter was chatting me up and Gail thought it was hilarious. At least I got coffee and a muffin for free!!!! Sad thing is I didn't even realise until Gail pointed it out!!!! and she got her ...
... But now, yes, I have big news for you people: we are moving out of Haiti! Yes sir! After 4 and one half year, at last we're going. I say "at last" because we've wanted to go for some time, but did not want to go under bad conditions. So patience awarded us with a nice outcome: Richard found himself a job within his organization, so we're leaving in peace.
Peace is a purposefully chosen word here. Haiti was tougher to me than I could imagine. ...
Today is the day we board our much awaited cruise on the Silver Whisper. Have just watched the Whisper berth here in Montreal around 7:30am. We are to board about 1:00pm this afternoon, much anticipation. We wandered down into Old Montreal to a cafe on the corner of Saint Jacques & Pierre, where again we met up with an Australian couple from Noosa also boarding the Whisper today. Where do I start... I'm in Montreal. Point Clare, actually, which is a suburb of the city. This trip has been an experience. Half of it is absolutely wonderful, and the other half is challenging on several fronts. The first would be MM, and I can't say much about that on here, as the person is a reader.
