... from tiny to horse size tore around the place, followed by owners who clearly had no control over their dogs. I am not sure what was worse, the barking or the yelling! But the view from the top was worth the mayhem, with mountain peaks in every direction and little houses built in all the valleys and up the sides of the mountains. The eastern side of the lake was even better. The town of Aix Les Bains is right on the lake, with a nice small town, and walks right along the lake - very pretty, Had a look around here for a while. ... tons of animals, people dressed up, huge cow bells, a band and dancing. It would have been a little more enjoyable if it hadn't started raining 5 minutes after the parade started, but everyone was there to see it and it was a neat piece of culture. After that we got ourselves some delicious Italian food and got warm and dry again.
