    What a beautiful day! Today we were able to celebrate the 90th birthday of my Great-Aunt Paulette! Lionel hosted the party at his house and almost all of the European Phene family was able to attend - a great reunion!

    It was such a beautiful sight to see Aunt Paulette reunited with Dad and Uncle Jack - truly speechless. There were tears, stories, great food and wine, laughter and so much joy. To be able to be here and see my family come together ...

    ... historic town called Yvoire, located on Lac Léman. The heart of this little village was built in the middle ages and is absolutely gorgeous. Across the lake you can see Lausanne and Geneva in Switzerland. He took us to a beautiful restaurant on the lake where we had the local specialty, filet de perche (filets of a kind of fish). This was absolutely delicious, as is everything here lol.
