... we decided to eat in from the very posh deli counter at the local "Public Drugstore" and Alice had an early night. Mum and Dad ate locally and came back just as Lauren was heading to bed - everyone was totally exhausted! We all needed a slower start this morning so we decided to stay local. We had to check in on the self service desk before we could go to the check inn desk and check our bags. However after going through the process twice on the machine I had to go to a member of staff anyway because it wouldn't let me check in! My boarding pass for ...

... it's quicker to take the train, and in drops you right in town! All up, took 7 hours travelling time...would have taken up to twice as long by car with the speed restrictions etc. Went on the Metro to get to the Apartment, which is very nice. Did not get lost! Sat opposite a group of Scottish blokes on the train....could not understand a word they said! How do I know they were Scot's? They were into the grog at 10am! ...
