    ... from yesterday. We then strolled down the Champs Élysées, bought perfume, a bag and of course some football tops for Riley. Quite a walk back to hotel passing some very flash shops, through the area where you ring the bell to be granted exclusive entrance etc. We are now resting our wary feet ready to brave the underground to go to Jan and Chris's (my sister and brother in laws) apartment for birthday dinner for Chris.     ... After that we went to the toilet which had a massive line and self-cleaned after every person used it so it took us forty minutes by my count to use it. After that we walked down the main street, which was just filled with touristy shops etc and got the tube home. We stopped for a drink around the corner from us which was very cheap but had a poor selection; about three beers and lemonade on tap, no cider for Nim. Something is always going on ...

    ... yellow line to take me back to the Moulin Rouge and then home from this point. It was about 7.30 and the light was disappearing. I was also getting quite tired and was feeling wet and cold. The bus came and the driver announced that he had finished and was not taking any more passengers. Well this was a surprise. The guide book had said that it would go through until after 9pm.     ... another way up. Drove 15km of winding hairpin corners with steep drops with no barriers, and a narrow odd tunnel we thought was curving in, eventually though we arrived into Sospel.

    ... br> We went to Galleries Lafayette and it was amazingly ornate. We saw the free fashion parade that we booked tickets for before we left, it was packed full, so obviously it is very popular, and it was very cool.
