Bonjour Paris! We arrived today after a short 1:45 flight and 30 minute metro to our hostel. The hostel is much more refined than Melon District in Poble Sec, Barcelona. But Hotel Innova doesn't let us turn the air conditioning lower than 19 degrees Celsius! So it's very muggy in our room.... Three Nights in Paris

As we stroll up to the front, gaping at this large line that we were told by Rick Steves to bypass since we bought the Museum 2-Day Passes, we asked a gentlemen where is our line to get in (assuming of course that we were special or something).. ... quite medieval. The Sorbonne is imposing but you can't get in to see it unless you are a student or academic apparently!!
The Louvre is huge and simply amazing and easy to get lost. I spent 7 hours there without realising the time and enjoyed every minute of it finding some great sculptures and some of what I thought looked like naughty little kids back in ancient times. And the Musee D'Orsay is equally amazing and I just loved the Impressionists, ...
Tour de Eiffel & Musse de Louvre
... 1' and 'The Wedding Feast at Cana' are huge, both are over 5 metres wide. I could write about The Louvre for ages, but I will leave that for when I have returned home and have time to bore people.
We caught the red bus back to the Champs Elysees and had baguettes for tea. We walked back to our hotel and collapsed. Tomorrow is our last day in Paris, but because we don't leave until 8pm I intend to make the trip to Versailles ...
