... It was my first visit to a self serve Laundromat and was cheap too which made the 1 kilometre walk well worth it. We came back, repacked our luggage and then took a stroll to the pebble stoned beach where we lazed for a while on the deck chairs looking out over the calm blue water and then decided despite neither of us being hungry, we'd better have lunch. As we waited for our food we were joined by Ron and Katherine. Was nice ...

... laughing with an undertone of evilness. OK… the last one is a lie, we actually see the Monopoly Guy but, if he existed, he would live in Monaco! After checking into the hotel we went for a wonder into the centre of Monte Carlo. Before stopping for lunch, we walked past the Marina. ... we don't have to carry it with to Monaco. My backpack straps on my very sunburnt back was not a good feeling. I really hope my burn heals up fast. The train to Monaco was full of people but it was only a 25minute ride so it went quickly. As soon as we got off the Monaco train I could tell we were in a rich city/country. The train station was the cleanest I have seen and instead of being all cement it had a touch of decoration. The sun ...

... we are able to catch an earlier train to Ventimiglia (on the Italian/French border), where we then change trains for Monaco. This will give us a little more breathing space. So we try to change our Australian pre paid ticket. Scusi - is not possible - you have to buy another ticket - $50 euros per favore. At least we'll get their earlier. Step 4 - Get 4 pieces of luggage weighing approximately 70 kilos onto train and onto overhead racks......sorry plus hand ...
