Day 16 - The Monte Carlo
... 8364;5 and got €8.32 back ... WINNNING !!! Yay :D. We later enjoyed a €16 drink because we were in the Monte Carlo and why not. Jake and Todd got the James Bond martini's and meg and I got cosmopolitans. There's tasted like petrol and our was a lovely cranberry delight! Meg, jake and Todd all put €10 each on the black jack table. Both meg and jake bombed out on the first round and again on the first round after wasting another ...
We return to the ancestral manse

... we don't have to carry it with to Monaco. My backpack straps on my very sunburnt back was not a good feeling. I really hope my burn heals up fast. The train to Monaco was full of people but it was only a 25minute ride so it went quickly. As soon as we got off the Monaco train I could tell we were in a rich city/country. ... we are able to catch an earlier train to Ventimiglia (on the Italian/French border), where we then change trains for Monaco. This will give us a little more breathing space. So we try to change our Australian pre paid ticket. Scusi - is not possible - you have to buy another ticket - $50 euros per favore. At least we'll get their earlier. Step 4 - Get 4 pieces of luggage weighing approximately 70 kilos onto train and onto overhead racks......sorry plus hand ...

... we check out some accommodation close by the station we decided to take it - very basic but clean and exceptionally reasonable price at €250 for 5 nights! We would later organise further travel to Pompeii with them.
