After brekkie it was onto Menton which is a lovely little town just before the Italian border. Menton is a much more down to earth place than its neighbours and more our scene. We found a park right on the beach and went for a wander and took in sum much needed sun. Next stop Italia!!<br>

... and not campervan parking friendly. We found a picture perfect stop just after Monte Carlo at the top of a hill overlooking the Med. We had the place to ourselves so we russelled up some brekkie in the sun which was lovely, so much so we were in t-shirts!!!

... Sunday was a quieter day, and we returned for a closer look at Antibes and Cannes. Antibes has a lovely central market where we sampled socca, a kind of chickpea crepe and local delicacy. Cannes is hosting a Christmas festival with rides, fairy floss and so on - it was totally packed and super noisy and crazy. Far less ordered than the Melbourne or Sydney shows. ... to leave. They were from Calgary, AB, and while talking to them, we almost missed our plane. (We had to run across a VERY BIG airport!) It was fun though, and we caught our plane on time, (barely.) We're in Nice now and the weather is gorgeous!!! Not a cloud in the sky. Punko - Topless Beaches!!!!!!
