is the same road as i went before but the scenes from up here are just amazing.
The road rides along the top of the cliffs above the Tunersee waters and has
some wonderful views.
down the mountain and along the coast of this massive lake I finally arrive
into Interlaken which is the main base of what I caul a great adventure park of
the Alps. More people must visit this area of the Alps than anywhere else.

After a few hours in, we took a table at a quaint restaurant and enjoyed some of the local cuisines. In the main park, the locals didn't seem to care much about the rain, paying soccer and letting of fireworks, some so large, it shook the ground and possibly left craters. ... walked for an hour to the middle station, returned to Beatenberg and took the funiculars down to the lakeside for the 90 min ferry ride to Thun a small town at the western end of the lake. A pretty town with walking streets, a castle and old church. We returned the same way. Pre dinner we had drinks once again on the terrace before what Bernhard called a simple meal. Four courses and wine means lots of walking needed ...
... to Thuner See rang true. At the top of a hill the landscape opened out before me and down towards flat lands. Moments later, after a sharp right turn, I realised I was accelerating down the hill on the wrong side of the road! Thankfully there was no traffic either way, and back on the right side of the road the 3km downhill to Wattenwil passed in flash.
Racing along the flat lands after I turned off onto a different cycle route ...
... Geneva. The riverine Geneva is also quite strong and at one stage we saw these poor swans trying to swim up stream.. The one at the back you thought maybe wanted to give up, but it just kept on going.. Good on it looked like very hard work.. Perhaps that's what Stacey felt like haha. Thanks for having us Switzerland! Miriko especially for giving us a bed and many breakfasts and to Janick and carina. Much love. Maybe mum can teach us to ski in the winter;) ...
