... and come out of the frame. This would be awkward anytime but was made worse by the fact that the next Airbnb guests are arriving tomorrow, so somewhat urgent to get the window fixed. Bob and Daisy were out and in central London and were incommunicado and Lucy was trying to ring her insurers. In the end we got Bob and he went back and made a temporary fix till the insurers take over on Monday.

... along the way, we found that just past Brienz, in Meiringen, we could see Reichenbach Falls, which aside from being an impressive waterfall, is also the location where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle decided to end the great rivalry between Sherlock Holmes and Moriarity by having them both plunge to their deaths. ... to Thuner See rang true. At the top of a hill the landscape opened out before me and down towards flat lands. Moments later, after a sharp right turn, I realised I was accelerating down the hill on the wrong side of the road! Thankfully there was no traffic either way, and back on the right side of the road the 3km downhill to Wattenwil passed in flash.

... Geneva. The riverine Geneva is also quite strong and at one stage we saw these poor swans trying to swim up stream.. The one at the back you thought maybe wanted to give up, but it just kept on going.. Good on it looked like very hard work.. Perhaps that's what Stacey felt like haha. Thanks for having us Switzerland! Miriko especially for giving us a bed and many breakfasts and to Janick and carina. Much love. Maybe mum can teach us to ski in the winter;) ...
