... to have all we need and once we fix up the niggly things it will be perfect for us for the next four and a half months. Tomorrow we are heading towards Amiens and will stop several times and ride along the Somme. It's great having bikes. You can see so much more everywhere. Looking back on our last full week in France, we are very glad that we booked the beachside accommodation at Quend plage for our last long stay. Amidst our two long day trips we had a few shorter excursions close to home and lots of beach time.

Best day ever! If this is a taste of what's to come, we're in!! We went for a short beach stroll to stretch Prego's legs then started our new exercise routine. Breakfast was ham omelette with French bread and we then did a few chores around camp before heading off for a long walk. We headed along the beach to Le Hourdel (approx 3 miles away). We saw a humungous gun emplacement / concrete bunker on the beach, attracting quite a few tourists. There were loads of ...

... Euro card which works (thank God) and then filled up on diesel before onwards to campsite through small, quiet villages (Les Galets de la Molliere, La Molliere-d'Aval, ACSI 1194, allocated pitches, 94). We arrived a little early for check in so we took a panty Prego for a run on the beach. Check in was good; first real bit of broken French! There was a mix up over electricity on our pitch as what should have been our wire to a supply was cut so the maintenance ...
