After a nice cooling swim we went back to the van where Jess whipped up a lovely dinner and I bought us all a second ice cream for the day. I figured that I would have to buy a new tube for my bike anyway and it will be a little while until we ride again so what the heck. We found the shops which amazingly were still open at 6 on a Samedi evening and not only did we find a boulangerie we found an 'Artisan Boulangerie and Patisserie'. There were screams of excitement and tears of joy and I think the children may have got a ...

All I can say is wow. Got up at 8AM. Packed all my **** up and walked down to breakfast that was included in my room. Had café, orange juice, chocolate croissant, yogurt, an orange and baguette with 2 different kinds of cheese. Left around 8:45 to go find the Avis car rental. Walked for a bit and finally found it. Another woman was waiting as well. They opened at 9AM. Good timing. No reservations but got a vehicle. ...
