Today Tina wanted to go see some shops so we headed down to Montelimar for the day.
The temperature was around the 34 degree mark so fairly warm on the bike.
The road from Crest to Montelimar has a fantastic surface and is full of long sweeping bends which the Valkyrie just glides around with ease.

We headed off to find the Pont d'arc and it wasn't long before we found it. It was stunning, lots of photos were taken before we had a ride up through the gorge, another couple of stops for more photos before heading back to the campsite on another spirited ride.
We were back in the tent by 8:30 to make a quick meal before heading down to the bar to write the entries in the blog.
... Tuesday, I took another one from the same bridge on Thursday morning. Quite a difference.
We came back to the tent mid afternoon and laid all the bike gear in the sun to dry it out. It's surprising how heavy a wet leather jacket is.
During the evening we were invited for a beer or two by a Dutch family who were camping opposite us.
We ended up playing a board game until nearly one o'clock in the morning. It was a really enjoyable evening.
