No luck there, I accidentally forgot the Nancy bergamotes in the car. While I was in the train, Papa gallantly ran back to the car, ran to the train, handed me the candy and kissed my cheek. Liverdun, j'arrive!!!
... qu'en Lorraine! Nous revenons par la suite a Liverdun pour le souper. Marie-Rose nous prepare une bonne quiche Lorraine. Je goute a beaucoup de bouffe typique de la Liverdun et des environs : les madeleines de Liverdun, les mirabelles, paté de foie aux mirabelles, vin du domaine Lelievre et aussi un apero a la liqueur de mirabelles. And our main late night entertainment was a basement hookah bar - using real tobacco and sitting on worn-in pillows and couches. These joints have somehow been able to escape all the encroaching tobacco laws. While we didn't try it, we did stumble across Canada Venture, a restaurant that claims to specialize in Canadian cuisine! Maybe next time :)

Anyway, I do believe that is all of my news. I am now going to go get some sleep in a bed. Sleeping on a floor for 3 nights has left me covered in bruises, but it was worth it to see Jess and where she’s living etc.
