... I headed back into the Medina, this time down a different road, which I hoped would lead me close to the Mausoleum on the other side of the Medina. This part of the Medina was a little more interesting with lots of handmade crafts and food stalls. Rabat and Ramadan
... site of streets and buildings, made all the more interesting by the beautiful plants, trees anf lowers grown in the jardin behind the minaret and medersa. There are many orange, fig and olive trees here, old established areas of creaking bamboo, hibiscus, orange flag,s prolific blue-flowering clematis and a whole host of flowering shrubs and green plants.
