... time to head to training. Before we got there we went the long way to kill some time, which wasn't the best plan as the traffic was starting to get really bad. But we did make it in the end!

... for our patience. The flight arrive on time and safely in Moscow. The longest wait we had after that was at the hotel reception desk, 20 min, only to be told we were at the wrong desk, please go to the other end of the building to the other reception desk! We finally got to bed at 4.30 am after over 24 hrs of travel.

... residents of the former GDR? I really enjoyed walking around the town, which is divided into the old town (formerly its own village, before the GDR-era construction) and the planned part of the city. The planned part had some neat characteristics of socialist cities: a clear city center, lots of green space, and a centrally located school (and Kindergarten). ... buddies, had arrived from Philly and we were flying to Africa together. First stop: food! Especially since I had slept through dinner and drink service on my first flight and literally sat in my seat without moving for 8 hours. At least the girl two seats over was cute.
