... I went into my favourite supermarket Aldi and all the things I like and the drug store with all the affordable cruelty-free beauty products. My heart was alive again. All those worries for nothing! I was really, really happy. On the bus towarda Cologne I sat next to Biruk, an Ethiopian guy who is living in Netherlands. ... served with mashed potatoes. One of the other women had German potato salad that was so much better than I remembered. I had hoped that they were serving potato pancakes, like my Grandpap Erb used to make, but...not on the menu. In Amsterdam today we saw hundreds of bikes lined up against ...

We enjoyed walking on the path that runs along the edge of the Rhine and watching the ships going up and down. The restaurants line the path throughout the summer and do ...

... hotel is not so bad. Everything seems very modern in the room. We are not here at the best time because all of the museums here are closed on Mondays. But we are planning to do a city tour and of course a cathedral tour. Then I guess we'll just have to eat and drink and shop the rest of the time! I will be disappointed if I don't get to see where Eau de Cologne was invented, but I'm sure I'll survive it.The amount of people here when we arrived was ...
