The park is filled with old trees, spacious lawns, watercourses, fountains and lakes. It was very romantic. We come up to Lake Emmasee and find our Ruderboots (rowboats) we wanted to rent! They were old school wooden boats that looked idyllic in the water. The shallow river system goes in a 3 mile circle around the park. We ...

Next stop will be ...

... of chaps. I paid and we chose a spot and got the awning straight out (ACSI 563, free spot choice (no numbered pitches), unlimited showers, unlimited electric, free wifi when it's connectable (predictably, it's not!!)) A quick ball throw for Prego then a late snacky lunch. The heat was intense. No sunshine by this time, really muggy and thundery. As we finished our second cuppa, the ...

    Disturbed Night Sleep

A travel blog entry by gpcampingcar on Apr 29, 2015

A move into Germany, staying at a camp site near a Lake on the East of the City; it was next to the A1 Autobahn and under the flight path to Bremen Airport. As you can guess, not the quietest night we have had so far!

The Navigator even went for a run a round the 3.5Km lake; I walked in the opposite ...
