Made another friend.
Was taking photos on the streets near the Christmas Markets when I was approached by another photographer, asking me whether I am using the X-E1. We chatted for sometime and turns out he's a pro with a history of M6s and was carrying 2 XPro1s with different lenses. He gave me some tips on where best to shoot the night markets. SNOW & CURRYWURST!!!!
... Also, I had my first currywurst in FIVE (5) years!! that was so exciting.
I walked aimlessly getting a feel of the city and stumbled upon the city center.
There were several really good looking delicatessen, that had open windows selling different forms of sausages. I was in heaven.
HEAVEN!!!!
Oh I also found an Apple Store - they are every where and made me feel safe in a foreign city.
There's something wrong about that.

The Polizi was kind enough to let me through the barricade and judging by their SOP it's clearly not a murder homicide. One of them kindly guided me to the hostel and remarked, a bit embarrassingly, "have a pleasant stay in Frankfurt".

Our First Family Outing in Wiesbaden
... at the feet of the church. After the fall of the last Tsar, Nicholas II, in 1917, this entrance was sealed forever. The entrance for the "ordinary people" is the only one in use today.
The church has been used mainly by Russian visitors in the 19th century who would vacation in Wiesbaden and is still used by members of the community.
There were no pictures allowed inside, but I bought a booklet to put in our scrapbook.

... it spits out a receipt for me to be refunded. Likewise, at the soccer game, I paid for my plastic cup and was returned the euro once I returned it safe and sound. It's a good system, especially if they end up recycling!
So overall I'm really enjoying my work group, and work isn't that terrible.. It's not what I expected to be doing, but hey, it keeps me busy!
