Our pantry is a single cupboard, with extra space found by putting things above the cupboards.



Our bed is very strange. It's sort of two beds, joined together. Because both of the beds have sides, we have this big gap between us without any mattress. We keep on rolling over in the middle of the night and falling down the gap.

This is our hotel room. We got there at 10pm - which might not seem that late, but it was 8am in Australia (on Wednesday morning) and we hadn't properly slept since 6am Monday morning, so we were exhausted.

... given the evident language barrier, but we laughed anyway. We found the German people we came across to be so rude and abrupt. There was an obvious problem with the seats next to us, double-booked we later found out, and rather than just sitting quietly, they stood in front of Kathy on 3 seperate occasions talking loudly to the people concerned.
