We had a huge day travelling yesterday but it all went very smoothly. We left our accommodation at 7am to be at the airport 8am...check in went smoothly. Unfortunately Katie had a nasty tummy bug and was very unwell...didn't feel good seeing her off on her plane to Portugal ( she had an horrific trip but by evening all had settled down thank goodness.). We woke up in the fog in Passau. Actually, in more ways than one as we had to use the alarm to get us up at 7 am. At 8:30 we took a walking tour of the city. We started in the fog but it gradually burned off and it turned into beautiful sunny day. We attribute this to bringing our heavy raincoats and deciding not to bring sunscreen.
