No breakfast in tariff but still full after dinner. Went to local bar for cappuccino and cornetto. Friendly little place. Staff started preparing locals regular coffee as they walked in the door 4.20€ for 2 cups and a cornetto- good value. Not far to travel so went to Royal Palace which is museum on second floor. Incredible frescos and detail on ceilings and walls and ornate furniture. Hall of mirrors modelled on Versailles. Every ...

Another great breakfast- cereal, home made croissant and toast with meat and cheese. Plus boiled eggs and sweet stuff that I didn't eat. Good unsweetened yoghurt. Still raining.. Mary looks every which way and then waits!! We followed our map to the elevator which took us to the lookout over ...

We locate, after much walking (we find out later, in circles) a great restaurant, chockers full of Italians and a wait of fifteen minutes or so, which was passed with a crisp white wine complimentary of the owner. Finally, we are in Italy, in the midst of locals, eating authentic mama style home cooking.....with very clean ...

... in a hallway. Actually, us and our bags are blocking the hallway, so the lowly and backpacker types have to literally climb over us and our belongings to get anywhere. We don't know where the carriage two is....right or left, anyones guess. So, off we go, like bent over turtles with our backpacks firmly in place, each pushing a suitcase through the tiny train corridors in search of our seats. Through the connecting doors of each carriage we went (a death ...
