... office a lot less and a bit cheaper, they were very helpful as I didn't speak Italian and they didn't speak Aussie . I went across Milan today and organised to pick up my bike tomorrow, looks like a fine machine and I am excited about the trip, though the guy at the shop said they were expecting rain in the mountains...bugger but u do wot u gotta do. So pack tonight and up with the sparrows tomorrow and into the Dolomites ...

After a little sleep in, we went downstairs for breakfast. There was a good selection of cereals, bread and croisants, meat, cheeses, fruits as well as coffee and juices. Phillip tried the carbonated water (called water with gas) and found it quite nice. We then left the hotel for the hop on hop off bus stop that was only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. ... of delays in the building!!! It is 158.5 metres long. We then found the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuel one of the oldest malls in the world and this to was beautiful. It seems anything goes in Milan when you need to find a car park!!! We had tea at the hotel, bruschetta followed by lasagna & spaghetti bolognaise which was very tasty indeed. We sat out in the pretty little garden to eat. Have decided to have another early night. This holidaying takes all our energy. Such fun ...

... the streets are clean. It may not have the sites of Rome but the parts we went to we're very nice. We went to see an exposition by Leonardo da Vinci it kinda sucked. Then to a church and saw the last supper. It's much bigger than we expected and a little surreal to see in person. We went back to the main piazza this time to the top of the duomo to get a view of the city. Of course there working on it but you can walk on the roof and there are thousands ...
