This memorial is significantly smaller than the Jewish one, and is basically a very large concrete box with a small viewing window, and if you look into said window the only thing you will see is a screen displaying a video on a loop of two men making out (because it was mostly gay men that were persecuted). ... you look at the steeple tower with its bombed out shape. We caught a bus home and arranged to catch up for dinner on the balcony but I think all the food and exercise caught up with us all as we all fell asleep and cancelled for the evening. ... in the East, so there were a lot of reconstructions that we rode by going on. There's this amazing minestrone soup at this restaurant we kept going back to for dinner near our hostel, which has no tomato and has a clear broth but so good! I also tried curry wurst, a favourite here in Berlin. I didn't love it, but it was alright. Everything else has been pretty good though, lots of variety.
