... we saw a cast on someone. Perhaps it has something to do with the bikes – absolutely no quarter given for pedestrians here. Bikes just take the right of way – a bit like P Platers in Canberra I guess.

After a morning on the road we returned to the hotel to meet with Jabba, who had been in Russia. He arrived (minus his luggage, apparently for the second time in his travels!), and with no jetlag, so we headed out again. He bailed on us to visit ...

... Greek crisis is occupying news channels here on CNN and BBC. Saw a Flash BMW for hire outside a hotel near the gate (only 276 euro a day ) a model D had never seen before see picture. Dome of Reichstag restaurant needs a booking so we may do this..apparently a great view of Berlin.Nefertiti in a museum here too so on agenda tomorrow when we get a museum card. We will get in early to the Pergamon museum..a ...

... top of the dome where you can walk right around and get a good view of the city and the building. Building was extensively damaged in the war and has been rebuilt since then. You can see the repair marks on the stone exterior. Walked over the bridge to the Berlin TV tower. We had VIP tickets so did not have to wait in line, but did have to share the lift up with a bunch of school kids on an excursion (those were the days).
