I did come second to last when we were playing for shots but thank god I didn't lose because I could not afford a round of shots. My roomie Kat lost and got us all a schnapps shot. Christopher Plummer does not sing.

Enough of this wonderful tour. We returned to Mirabell gardens and had the obligatory photos taken and the back to the old town to have some sepia photos done. Such fun and just wait till you see then. After a short rest it was time for dinner, packing and setting up for another day of travelling tomorrow as we leave beautiful Salzburg behind!

... with chimes of not just the church clocks, but clocks throughout the town that seemed to make the whole courtyard vibrate. It was beautiful. We took a tour through the cemetery of St. Peter's Monastery which provided the inspiration for the scene in Sound of Music when they hide from the Nazis in the cemetery. It was the most beautiful cemetery I have ever seen and the graves were beautifully decorated for Christmas with advent wreathes, plants, lanterns and flowers. We ...
