Took the train from Nuremberg to Munich. Encountered a group of refugees. Pretty difficult to get through with all the police that were there as well. I thought we might miss our train!! We didn't miss this connection although it is really full. One more transfer and we will be in ...

We spent the morning at the salt mine. The tour starts with putting coveralls on. We then went on a mini train. If you were taller than 6 feet you have to be careful because there is not much headroom. The tunnels are very narrow. You start the tour by sliding down a 50 foot wooden slide to the mine. We toured the cemetery by St. Peter's church and ...

There was some awesome hiking and we found a water treatment plant / museum at the top that was super neat (outside of everything being in German). Salzburg has fresh fountains all over town flowing with ice cold pristine water from the alps. I'm glad I brought my insulated water bottle: ...

... the food is good!

...Food was extraordinary! Not entirely sure what it was, but I know these Austrians love their potatoes! Although, I have to admit after a cold and rainy day, I can understand why - comfort food!

Calling it an early night and heading home to get some work done and get to bed early! No missing the alarm in the morning, will be setting back up ;-)
