... amp; run other camps. The camp was built to put anyone resisting or thought to be a threat to the Nazi party into 'protective custody' into a work camp. Communists, JW's, Jews, homosexuals many groups ordered by the Nazi's. You would appear at the camp when ordered & not escape otherwise the Nazi's would kill your family. The camp was in operation for 12 years & the first 5 years there were only German prisoners. Political prisoners & anyone opposing the ...

... us back to he airport was able to bring it for me! So new rule now, it's not allowed to come out while I'm in s taxi!! After arriving safely in Munich! it's still so strange to think only a 1.5hr flight means you are in a different country! It was such a fun trip and I would do it all over again if I was given the opportunity too. But it's good to be home (still weird to call Florence my home) and be able to sleep in my OWN bed again! This weekend was definitely unforgettable and I'm glad I could check "OKTOBERFEST" off of my bucket list! Until next time, fellow followers! PROST!

... off by tipping him well. It was a good tent to spend the day at. Many beers, sunny day and hanging out with friends. I LOVE Oktoberfest! And today there was no lines for the toilets! Bonus.

In the evening we all went to go on some rides together. Tonight we were going on the taller Tower of Terror! It was when we were in the front of the line that Sarah actually realised that we were in line for it at all! Haha. You were funny Ludlow ;)
    Another scary ride ...

... is where Hitler had many meetings with his councils and was virtually destroyed during the war, as was much of Munich.

The following day we took the metro to a Concentration Camp museum at Dachau. We took part in a guided tour there and learned about the function of the camp and it's history. All but one of the original buildings have been destroyed, but replicas were made for learning purposes. ...
