After lunch we went to a Palace where Napoléon III spent much of his childhood and was exiled to in Arenenberg, Switzerland. The grounds were exceptional and the view was great. ... and a playground so Jess bought the girls an ice cream and they went to play while I set about repairing. Surprisingly it wasn't too difficult to fix and I thought I had earned an ice cream too but the shop shut for lunch at just that moment. Life can be so unfair!
