      Last day on the slopes

... in my robe. Mrs Klammers, the owner, ushered me back out of the dining room with mention of dress code. I thanked her sincerely.

Tonight was to be light-graffiti night. I had finger torches and had not yet used them. We gave Mrs Klammers one set, she seemed amused.

That’s so funny” his laughter ...

After making a panorama photo and sitting to reflect & recharge I resolved to, between now and this time next year, get myself a helmet. Much as the majority of my snowboarding career has been either learning how to not fall over or how to fall better; now I can see that as a freestyler: I am gaining new abilities to hurt myself and would ...

      Snowboarding day 3

A travel blog entry by don.vince on Jan 27, 2015

... I think you are going to like it, it goes like this…" oh man, it was all difficult, and so much fun. “Listen guys, you are freestylers now, this is where it starts getting fun, you can’t just do the turns anymore”. My thighs are going to hurt tomorrow. These jumps and tricks completely transform how I see the mountain. Blue runs: these used to be pain in the ****, trying and failing to keep up with my ski ...
