      ... in Africa. But I didn't realise, until I had Tourism Geography, that its the only mountain you can climb where you travel through all of the earth's climate zones. You start off in the tropics and end up looking at glaciers! We saw a presentation from one of the tour companies about the hiking packages that they do and it was amazing.

      We stopped for a Glühwein to warm our fingers and popped into the Dreifaltigkeitskirche to take a look. Quite new in comparison at only 300 years old, it is much smaller, but with intricately carved and painted wooden panelling and balconies. It was definitely the surprise find of the day, unlike the Altstadt from Speyer, which was nonexistant despite the tourist signs. Even Weinheim has a better Altstadt!

      ... foot of the castle. Had lunch in their own beer garden, hot day, but in the shade was beautiful. Rachelle had rinderfleisch strips unt salate,(beef strips and salad) I had schweinebraten, (roast pork) beer gravy,red cabbage and bacon dumplings. Superb. Best meal so far this trip.
