Ivonne and Christiaen Bluecher's house is in the municipality of Henstedt-Ulzburg (pop. 28,000) within the state of Schleswig-Holstein. Their house is about a 30-minute drive north of ...

A day off

I wake up to a nice day for walking. But I decide not to. I can use the rest and I have a bag full of dirty clothes. The water in the lake is quite clear. After boiling it I can drink that and it's clear enough to wash my clothes in. I put up a washing line and wash ...

I write some more until my battery is flat and go to ...

As I walk into Lauenburg it's clear that it's a beautiful historic city but it misses something, especially in the centre to make it attractive for tourists. In do pick up a used iPhone 4S there which I'm quite happy with. I really need a haircut. It doesn't matter to me where I get it as long as it's not ridiculously expensive. As I finish in Lauenburg I'm thinking about ...
