... not!!!!!!!!!! Anyway , it was a little frustrating but we got the gist. It is on the Elbe river and is a Unesco world heritage site. It is bigger than I thought and is quite busy, once again lovely little cobblestone lanes, beautiful churches and much of it bombed and rebuilt. ... rather tight space and caught the main electricity box for the camp and slightly skewed the frame affecting the alignment of the door. No apparent damage to the electrics inside although these are hidden behind a panel, but have to wait till Monday for the damage assessment. Small area of damage to rear of bus. So it was with a sick feeling that we headed off northwards Tto Denmark rather later than expected.

The next morning, we drove from Hamburg to Lübeck, where my great-aunt lives. We went for a walk through the city but it was very cold, so we had to go to a cafe soon.
Later we met my aunt at the Niederegger shop, which is a very famous German Marzipan manufacturer. We stepped in for a coffee and extremely delicious cakes and bought some of the famoues Lübeck Marzipan specialities as a souvenir.
Then we continued our journey to Schwerin.
