... middle of the road means nothing to some idiots. They would race out onto the wrong side of the road then suddenly have to push in about two cars ahead to avoid a head on collision.Twenty miles further and the clowns are still plodding along in the same queue of traffic but only about ten or so cars ahead.

... remain in our hearts as our favorite European city. We were awed by the northern city of Bolzano and so thankful we got to experience the Dolomites. We were enchanted by the magic of the lakes, especially Lake Como, with low-lying clouds, misty mornings, twinkling evening lights. Campsite in Colfosco pleasant enough but relatively expensive at knocking on 30
euros a night with electric (double what we paid at Olympia, for a better
location). Stopped to enquire at a second around Canazei but again knocking on

under the cable car route up to Tofana di Mezzo (3444m). This is a three stage
cable car and we only walked up a little beyond the first stage, where there is
a restaurant (Refugio Col Druscie) and an observatory. Beautiful autumn crocii
in the meadows on the lower slopes of the walk.
