... we anchored at Sibenik in Croatia - thankfully the weather settled down so the ship could go right into port. Quite cool and we walked around town bundled up in coats & warm scarves until about 1pm before heading back to the ship for lunch. Very pretty town but I still don't like the people much. On Monday I made my way to the bus terminal and although my bus ticket was all in Croatian, I guessed that the word "Peron" meant "Platform" and went to Peron 401. There are two small Cable Cars that take 55 seconds to go from one town to the others but sadly they are not working and we have to take the steps. We enjoy the walk but it is the Cathedral which is truly amazing. It is just breathtaking although we are asked to leave or meditate, what the? We then walk to the ...

Bog! From our "hideout" in Cratia.

Bog is the common greeting (and salutation) in Croatia. Bog means God. The greeting is shortened from "God be with you).

On the wings of EasyJet we arrived in Split, Croatia. As Americans we are allowed in the Schengen Visa Treaty zone no more than 90 days on a "no visa/travel visa." Unbeknownst to us, if you want to stay longer, you apply for and receive that visa before you get here. We tried once ...
