... lunch, I decided to head to De Halve Moon Brewery for a tour. The next one didn't start until 3 pm, so I decided to walk toward the 'Lake of Love.' It was lovely with the swans and ducks. At least I think that is what it was. The tour was also interesting. This brewery is the only one in the center of Brugge and was built In the 1860s. They brew about 30,000 liters per day, and brew 4 kinds of beer. The first room we saw contained the vessels. This is a new area, and then ...

I saw several of the oldest buildings in Bruges, including one that dates back over 800 years and is still standing, and we went under the oldest bridge in the city, which ...

... chocs' there is one place in Bruges that you can not afford to miss. This place is called Choco-holic. They have the most amazing selection of chocolate treats that you could easily get lost in - not to mention gain about 2 stone. I actually miss the chocolate so much that i'm starting to think about ordering some from their website . . . in bulk of course! www.choco-holic.be/en

Travelling into the Amazon rainforest of Surinam

... villages. In two and a half hours you could be in Kwamalasamutu, almost on the Brasilian border. To give an example of the rates: a return ticket for a flight of an hour costs about €300. Booking can be done independently and is very easy. The flight in a small aircraft across the untouched Amazone rainforest is an adventure on its own. The two airlines that flyregionally are Gumair and Blue Wings. The grass airfields ...
