- The town of Noci. Nearest to Beppe's farm. We loved its small town charm, delicious bakeries, cheese stores and patisseries which we frequented regularly for fresh treats.

Organic Farming
The three of us quickly fell into step on the farm. Our daily routine of waking up over breakfast (the Sicilian almond milk has left a sweet memory in our taste buds), firing up the motorized orange trolley and heading out into the field for a morning of harvesting whatever was ready that day. This usually led to planning our afternoon meal around the vegetable bush that hosted the mostest that morning. ...

- A bread making feast. An entire day spent with friends, dedicated to the making of homemade loaves. We enjoyed each other’s company and a hearty lunch in between bouts of making, kneading, rising, stoking the outdoor stone oven, cooking, cooling and breaking of our communal bread. With little in mind of what to expect, we started our 9 hour train journey to the other side of the country. With high hopes, open minds and positive attitudes in tow, we made our way to Bari, Puglia, on the Eastern coast to meet our WWOOF'ing host and soon to be new friend.
