    ... track ...like a cafe and that's it ... Gelato and a water and I'm heading home to put my feet up for a bit. Got a hot date tonight !! So glad I decided to put my power walk of the lake on hold this morn !! Oh and my mother tells me I went to Mt Hotham as a kid and saw snow ...well gotta say ..can't been to memorable as I can't remember I thing about it ....snow ..one would think that would have some kind of impact on ones memory ...

    Today is our last day of biking. Our ride today will take us from Lake Resia across the Val Venosta valley and follows the Adige River, at the feet of the impressive Ortles mountains (12,812 feet). We will be very close to the Italian borders with Austria & Switzerland. As we bike from Curon to Glorenza we will lose considerable elevation, about 1,900 feet. We've been forewarned that we will be riding downhill with some "exhilarating" descents.

    ... However, I'm the only one with the broken arm. That made it all the more difficult". Carolyn wasn't kidding, as we had to get off of our bikes, and walk them up the long hills. We were exhausted just from the climb.

    We went to dinner at 8:30 pm. The hotel recommended La Santoni, and it was really very good. I had homemade pasta with mushrooms (fungi), and Carolyn a buffet salad.
    It's almost 10:30 pm. Can't wait to crawl into ...

    Another pleasant day down the hills. The views are fantastic. We finished ride at the brewery the make their local beer Forst. We tried a 240ml to try and it wasn't bad. There was a one litre option so I thought I'd give it a go with a half chicken and chips. Damn good fun!
