So we get to Oloumouc late in the evening and go straight to a birthday party with a lot of student friends studying in the city.
Great conversations despite the language barrier and we drank some fab wine and more of the local scnapps - but this stuff was home-made so it was more like 60%!! Wha surprised me the ...
A Day Trip from Prague

Having had several weeks of a diet consisting mostly of bread, meat and potatoes, we decided the Hard Rock Cafe would be a nice break from all of the heavy foods we have been indulging in with the added bonus that it was less than 2 minutes from our apartment.
Prague's HRC is a big place over 4 stories although it seemed they only had the ground and 1st floor open.
We enjoyed a few pre-dinner beers before ordering meals we are more ...

Confusion????
... and even our bus was. They get so close to each other that you think they are going to crash, but you don't some how. I guess that's just the way they drive over here. We caught a few glimpses of some beautiful churches and the castle in Prague, but we will be able to see more in a week when we spend a couple of days there. I was also amazed at all the American businesses I saw. Globalization is very common ...
