... scenery and the weather was stunning! We had lunch then walked back to Sieny's for some family photos. After staying at Sieny's for a bit longer we drove back to Apeldoorn. ... a dirt floor, and they practice using the equipment in the indoor field often. It was my first time seeing a potato harvester. Near this barn, we met some students who were in the truck pulling club. They were building a pickup truck to use for contest, similar to tractor pulls.
After the farm tour, Jennie and I had to leave to go home with our homestay student, Mark. We were missing another farm visit, but got to start our homestay early.

... strange because I dislike crowds and traffic jams, but I seem to revel in it over there. The south coast of Vietnam, or rather the whole Delta region, islands and Vung Tau area I would like to spend some time in. I know I could easily spend several weeks in either Hanoi or Saigon and make it my base for exploration in the near city area. The people I found very friendly but also realize that part of that is that you are a tourist and a possible source of income.
