... boats moored up. This wouldn't be a bad life I thought! The afternoon went quickly, had a beer by the water; half the price of expensive Dubrovnik!!

It was soon time to board the catamaran to Bol (Brač). The journey took just over an hour.

Bol seemed to have a nice relaxed feel to it. My hotel was easy to find, just 300m from the port, but it was up a steep hill, worse than my one to my flat back home.

Looking forward to going windsurfing tomorrow ...

With the way our travel plans worked out, Ryan and I ended up spending quite some time in Croatia - something I perhaps wouldn't necessarily recommend. Sure, in the summer it's quite a nice place but from an economical front Croatia is quite a poor country, stemming from its violent history. As a result, the people of Croatia are very dependant on tourism in the summer months and attempt to squeeze every 'kuna' they can from ...

... the Riva (the main boardwalk). We’re on the 5th floor with windows overlooking the square. It’s a studio on the top floor so it has the slanted, wood beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. Really lovely. Always so much to explore in a new city. Everything is unknown, waiting to be discovered. Until you get there, it’s just a map.

It’s said that you should try something new every day, which I ...

... go into Mykonos was to find somewhere with free wifi as I have been feeling disconnected! I found a bar, and asked them to make me a nice non alcoholic cocktail. It was very nice and delivered in a coconut shell. I didn't ask what it would cost, thought that free wifi would be worth it. It ended up being 10 euro, which is quite a bit but well worth it to me! I have been very good on the ship, and the only things I have paid for so far are 2 bottles of water, and ...
