... at the table, the chefs and waiters were all very accommodating. It made for an enjoyable evening and the meeting of some new friends. Of course, we had to take in the nightly stage show which for that night was a song and dance number called "Aces High". Very talented performers for sure. After the show, I stopped at the piano bar to listen and sing along to some great piano tunes before heading to bed. All in all...a decent port day. Fitbit reading: 15,868 steps taken, 7.42 ...

... all dropping 10-20m right next to the track. We stopped and soaked up the sights (pardon the pun) and just took the whole thing in. On the way back to our place we stopped and loaded up on food and few drinks from the supermarket and then spent the rest of the night (until 9) playing cards, eating and having a few ciders. It was a great way to spend my 29th birthday.

... Diocletian was a roman emperor who decided to retire to split. And built his palace here with multiple bedrooms , as he was paranoid and somewhat mad. Also worried about being executed. He actually killed most of the prominent Christians and also raided several Egyptian sites to decorate his palace with columns and several sphinx. People still live inside the palace and there re also markets and hotels and shops and many bars and restaurants.
