... If you sent your main luggage sent on ahead, it can be waiting for you when you reach the accommodation you have arranged for this evening. This version of our Nakasendo self-guided trip is for those wishing to experience part of the core 5-days of walking on the trail. We also offer a 10-day version of the trip with city stays in Kyoto and Tokyo and one day of private guiding with your own personal guide for a wonderfully intimate view of the city. ...

8 km walk from walk Magemo to Tsumago.

The guide book and the tourist information centre told me that it would take 3hours to walk it.
However I only had 2, as I got up way to late to actually do this walk. What can I say i did it in 1 1/2 hours :)

Rock'n Roll!!!! found the coolest little coffee shop in Tsumago.

It felt amazing to rest our muscles and get clean after the trek. Checked into Hakone Suimeiso ryokan, a traditional Japanese guesthouse. This is where you are served a kaiseki meal in your room ...

... unfortunately has „cold water“ – it’s only 28 degrees. After a hot shower this was too cold for me so I just put my legs in there and fled back under the warm sheets of my bed.

After a little beauty nap we went outside to walk along the beach and take some photos. Unfortunately the weather was not as good as we expected, so we could not go sunbathing or swimming. Instead we explored the city and found a pretty lane, called shopping ...
