A little luxury en route....
After the long drive yesterday, today's trip was much shorter. We head off to Cachi after breakfast in the local panaderia (Bakers). This, another beach in Gujarat a lot nicer than Daman i think but theres nothing to do there apart from the beach, the water is still ugh (arabian sea) but watching the sun was nice...

The home-town Satem/Navsari
Satem/Navsari...
So Satem is the village in Gujarat where my mom's family is from, she grew up here so it was nice to see how she lived and what she used to do.
I've met a lot of people here, people that i had no idea who were when i first met them but it felt good to meet them and see how they were related/knew my mom.

Arrived in Ahmedabad
After my daily ablution, I had breakfast and went out with my cousin around the neighbourhood. We also played some street cricket, with the highlight of the morning being the chance to ride his scooter around the city. I tried this the day before, but was scared as whenever I turned, the scooter seemed to lean to the side as if it was ...

... another well known brand. Later on in the evening, we then played cricket in his courtyard, before he let me use his scooter, with him being the passenger, to explore his local area. This was just a chance for me to ride a scooter - for the first time. After we did this, we went to my other uncle's house, in Surat, to play cricket again, and have some dinner. I then slept round this house, with my grandparents, and my cousin went back to his house.
Not a bad day!
