... up, drop it and come back for the other. We were lucky, we followed a red SUV around , and just barely had room to get by. Buses coming the other way, were going to have to wait till all three trucks went through dropping their trailers and coming back for the second one. Saved us a lot of time. This is a super hwy 200 in Mexico.

This is a great town. People oh so friendly and kind, happy and smiling. A very safe town where you can stroll at will in the evenings. One really noticeable thing is that they treat their children very well and the children in turn, are very well behaved.

We found that for meals we often had equally good fare at the very cheapest, most unassuming restaurants like the ones at Barra de Potosi.

Zihuatanejo- go there. Y vaya con Dios!

Barra de Potosi was pretty well barren today- a great thing from our perspective! Had the whole place pretty much to ourselves. We were surprised as they seem geared to having crowds of people, but it seems this is the calm before the storm- they say the crowds arrive en la Semana Santa.

After 10 straight weeks of colder than -20 Celsius weather, we are delighted to be in Zihuatanejo. +30!

Rented a lovely. lovely condo near La Ropa Beach- at Casa que Ve al Mar. Great view over the bay and just high enough to catch some cooling breezes. 2 swimming pools also overlooking the bay. Seemed to be all adults there- peaceful and civilised. Perfect!
