... whole way with some minor separation on the hills. We finished well within the cut off without over exerting ourselves.


At the finish, there’s an athletes village with lots of food and drink (and a merry-go-round) and now we’re back at the hotel, cleaning up and resting before we have to go up to the briefing for tomorrow.


Just hope we get some sleep tonight otherwise everything is going ...

Andorra has more mountainous S-bends per km of road than anywhere in the world, I am sure, and we traversed most of them today! Set off slowly, after a sleep in until 8 am, and travelled west across the Pyrenees. Beautiful villages and mountainous country. Then crossed into Andorra. Rob and Rob and John did a tour of the underground caves where they ripen the Roquefort cheeses, 14-25 days depending on the type of cheese. I wandered the village, climbed to a view point, looking out over the Massiv Central, looked at a ruined chapel and then went for coffee. "Cappuccino" was black coffee with thick real cream on top! Awoken early by absolutely nothing - pure silence not even a breath of air, this cabin is indeed in a tranquil place high in the mountains - pure essence of meditation (yep quite different to Fremantle).
