Tires and Towers: Kranj and Ljubljana
... all of us participate. It was embarrassing when the old man made me dance with him and play a hat version of musical chairs but looking back it really wasnt that bad and totally a good time. The food was the best version of traditional food that we had the entire trip too so it was really a great experience!
After dinner we just went home, wrote our journals and got a lot of sleep for the next day (we knew it was going to be a long one)!! ...
Island in the middle of a Lake: Bled
... home cooking to me! Meat, potatoes and veggies! I loved it. It was really similar to German food and really rich and hearty. After eating we were all falling asleep and really eager to get back to the hotel and get some rest. Every time we would ride on the bus we could all sleep as the tour guide would discuss the history of Slovenia hahah He said it was the first tour that he has ever given that this would happen haha Oops :) ...
Summer Toboggan
Sadly our last day in Slovenia so we decided on a bit of 'adrenalin' for our last morning. After packing up we headed to the slopes and because it was a Saturday, the ski lifts were open! So a peaceful journey to the top watching some BMX dudes tearing up the bike track before making our way to the summer toboggan run.
Not quite sure if its just for kids but we thought ...
Bovec rafting
... lunch and then went for a wander. Sat and had a nice picnic in the sunshine before getting kitted up for our water adventure. As there was only me and AP booked in we had the whole river to ourselves with just us and our instructor Nate in the boat.

Mountain Hike
We enjoyed Kranjska Gora so much yesterday and decided there was much more to explore there so packed up our stuff after an early brekkie and headed back there to make it our new base. After enquiring in a cafe with great hot chocolate we found a lovely place to stay! A cute little room with a balcony overlooking the ski slopes and mountains. Perfect!!
Once we'd dumped our gear, we headed out for another day ...
