We left McLeod Ganj at 10am which was a far more civilised time than the buses at 5am and 6am,

We had opted for the luxury of our own driver as this also gave us the option to stop whenever we wanted to for food/drinks/washroom/leg stretches/photographs.

A tiger with a paw missing, it's cub with a polystyrene tail, a discoloured 'Honey BEDGER' on a brick and a cheetah with bad facial stitching. It's so bad it's funny and seeing as we only paid 7 pence to get it ...

Okay it was only an hour but this is completely within our comfort levels!

Okay, okay, it was also mostly down hill as well but again within our comfort (and fitness) levels.

I was surprised by how much we enjoyed it. There was ************e else around so it was very peaceful.

Where we commenced was right up the top of a mountain where there is a temple, the elevation was 2,100 meters. Some people do the hour trek UP ...
