Monday morning we took our time our time getting ready and packed up our clothes that had pretty much dried overnight. ... talked with his mom and she picked us up at the earlier train station so it all worked out fine. We got on the train around 8:00 am and finally got to Marian and Saskia around 5:00 pm with only the last hour being in a car instead of a train.

The rest of the afternoon was spent touring downtown Magdeburg and free time to explore on our own. The boys played a pick-up game of basketball while we sat and had cappuccino while people watching.
