    We've arrived after our epic journey from Cairns via Brisbane & Auckland. We know that we're back in the northern hemisphere as it's cold and raining. We had to wait ages for our shared transfer to our hotel which a pain after so many hours travelling. The 2 hour drive was unremarkable as it was dark.     Our second day in Japan has started slightly late, by the time we had our breakfast and left the hotel it was already 11am. The breakfast was Japanese style; noodles, miso soup, japanese salads and tea.
