... our ship is docked so we walked a bit and were in the shopping/pedestrian district and we just meandered around for a few hours. I bought some shoes I wanted to buy before we left so that was nice. We had a little misty rain but nothing too bad. Our tour included an archeological dig in the Jewish quarter with remains dating back ...

We drowned our sorrows by going to a local recommended bistro for a slice of one of their fabulous cakes and coffee. I had a fresh strawberry tart where the berries were stacked at least 3 inches high and Yvonne had a cheesecake that even I thought was wonderful (and I am not a fan of cheesecakes). We ...

... I walked back through the Christmas Market on the way to the hotel. I stopped and had a Glühwein and enjoyed the entertainment for twenty minutes or so. It was an orchestral quartet (bass, saxophone, guitar and electric violin) that sang songs in English. They seemed to be quite popular with the
crowd and the most popular song with the audience was White Christmas. When I got to the hotel I took advantage of their sauna to ...
