Our next shore stop was Santa Cruz, Tenerife, Canary Islands.
This is a major big city. While the island of Lanzarote is around 140,000, Santa Cruz on the island of Tenerife is over 200,000 people alone. I could not believe it… we were only 10 miles short. 10 miles!! So we’ve done a total of 99,990 nautical miles and will have to wait until our next cruise to reach our milestone. :-(
