Over ten years in scouts taught me to Be Prepared. Thank god for that and the memory of what can and did go wrong on the way to Monaco 18 months ago. So the plan was to check out at 10.30 and taxi to airport, check in 11 am for 1 pm flight to Cologne. Get to the apartment around 3 in time for some sightseeing before dinner. Went for a walk along river later and caught up with some Aussies we had met day before so sorted out the world problems and celebrated the Manchester lady birthday from caravan next door (as you do )
