... no grips on the rentals...terrified I'd kill someone! Cab problem...ride there did not come back to get us. So overcharged on way back but not charged for way there, oh well! Having dinner now. ... bunch of strangers in a bar. The first day there, we took a train to Amsterdam. Our first stop was a visit to the Heineken Brewery. It was way cooler than I expected. The entire tour was interactive and very educational. We then walked around the city. ... The journey across the ditch was very uneventful, just felt a long time, and on our arrival to Harwich we put our clocks back as they are an hour behind the rest of Europe. Once again, Bo needed to adjust his driving, and this time remember to keep to the left of the road. He drives off the boat and into the darkness and we are soon reminded how narrow the roads can be in England as we weave our way to Clavering. The beginning of another chapter.
