... our coach was their to meet us for our tour of the city & Schonbrunn castle -The world of the Hapsburg's an amazing & powerful dynasty. Our tour included museum of natural history,Vienna opera house,St Stephen's church, the Hofburg palace & our major stop Schonbrunn Castle. An ornate opulence of wealth & power. ... Vienna public transport. Not intentionally, of course, but the place we had planned on going had major track works so no trains operated. It was all for free though; we didn't get charged a single cent for the trips we'd made. ... real exciting stuff to write about. I did manage to break the day up with some wondering, which I like to do here. I stay within the city center, but always try to take different routes and go down different streets.... I'm sure I've covered the whole area by now. Am Sitting on the balcony of the cute studio apartment I've rented in Nice, feeling like a local after having shopped at the fruit and veggie outdoor market.... But first, Paris.
