How else to describe our 3 days in Oslo? We bought an Oslo Pass, which gave free transport & entry to most places, which saved us a whole lot of money. I have grouped the items thematically, rather than day by day. ... was a little difficult to reach because the metro was closed for a section so we had to take a bus. We had to walk uphill a ton to get to the entrance. Again, there was lots of information about skiing and animals that our brains didn't have room for. We took the elevator to the top and enjoyed the views. ... with some of the locals of Oslo. They were very nice, and their English, like all Norwegians, was flawless. We were able to ask some cultural questions. The most surprising part to the journey, however, were the posters we noticed on the metro. Pulled into Aarhus (pron, our house) at noon today. Apart from a load of washing and a late breakfast we pretty much had a stress-free morning. Aarhus is the 2nd largest city in Denmark and is a major container port. Larger ships unload containers which are forwarded to smaller towns further north by smaller ships, or else by road or rail.
