A lazy morning. Had breakfast with Horst, did some washing and trip planning. It is a rainy day and only 17 degrees. We walked the 3km to Horst's Office then off to lunch at La Bottega Italiana. It's quite a long drive into Germany, but we have set off early and we each drive half so it doesn’t feel too bad. We arrive at our camp site near Blankensee by 4pm, and are pleased to find the sun is still shining and we can sit in the sun and plan the next two weeks’ travelling. Unfortunately, we do park on an ants’ nest, and are slightly mithered by them for the rest of the day as we go about our business.
