... 1937. We walked about half a mile to the Heidi property and saw the outside of the house but didn't pay the extra 8 francs each to go inside as this wasn't important to us, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and farm animals instead. They have chickens, goats and a few gorgeous kids, one of them sucked my finger so hard I nearly lost my hand down it's throat. How disappointed it must have felt when it realised my finger wasn't it's mum or food. The surrounding properties ...

... St. Moritz at 9:30. We traveled from St. Moritz to Tirano, Italy. The journey took us 2 1/2 hours. We saw some beautiful country and hit some very high mountain passes. We saw several glaciers and lakes produced by the glaciers and the snow run off. The glacial lakes and rivers are a beautiful green because of the glacial flour. The weather was, again, perfect. ... we went higher and higher on the worlds slowest express train. The steep, slow, winding track affords so many vistas that we were running from side to side of the train, gasping at every turn and bend. Luckily our carriage was nearly empty so we and a few others could do this.
We were lucky enough to see most of the glacier, but turn your back and it's enveloped in cloud again. Over the actual Bernina pass ( ...

... You could tell they weren't deer because they were too dark in color and had curly horns. We walked over 6 miles today, and it felt good. We both had a great workout.

We are now in Italy in a huge ski resort area. Once again, it's off-season so there are very few people in our hotel.

The dinner menu looks interesting and we aren't leaving the hotel. It rained on us really *******ce we got to ...
