... scenery, but we decided for the shortcut as we were pressed for time if we wanted to get up to Zugspitz before it closed. On the 30 minute walk between the cable car stations at Hochalm and Kreuzeck, we came across a heard of cows up close (with bells on!). ... has the tractor coming out of it. I am not a farm girl being raised in California, so I found this very interesting. I really enjoyed this place, the people and the history of it all.

Not too far from this hotel was another Castle - I am starting to think Castles are like 7-11's as I am seeing them at every turn now.....but not complaining as I think they are such a spectacular sight.
